  Amazing!!! Bear was an amazing tour guide and we had so much fun kayaking!! I had 0 experience and was able to keep up and take in all of the amazing views! Very organized and felt like a safe adventure! Bring shoes/sandals that can get wet and can handle a little bit of rocky walking.

  Goose was amazing and very friendly even when we flipped the kayak at the beginning. We got back on and had a beautiful time

  Braden our tour guide was fantastic. So glad we opted for the tour vs. just renting. Braden made the process simple and fun from start to finish. He was informative and fun and made the experience educational for our kids as well.

  This is a “must do” adventure for everyone - families, teens or couples. Our group was a mix of families with teens and a honeymooning couple and we had a blast! We went out during winter when the waves were a decent height and had some pretty good wind, but our kayak guide Braden helped us get out to the island without much struggle. Braden took us for a tour around the island and we got to hang out on the beach and watch the kite and wind surfers - he also had snacks and water for us! We were super impressed with how organized Kailua Beach Adventures was. Braden taught us a lot about the area and is just an all around cool guy. I’d highly recommend going with a guide for your first time, especially in winter conditions. Also, definitely check out their store…lots of good stuff in there + the staff is super friendly! Can’t wait to go kayaking again…the 5-hour tour next time!

  Alan was such a wonderful guide for our kayak trip to Flat Island (he even took pictures of us to remember this trip by)! His knowledge of Kailua and Flat Rock was far beyond our expectation. We never felt rushed and definitely had a great experience with Kailua Beach Adventures!

  This was our first ever kayaking experience and was amazing. We had a lot of fun, especially my young kid. Our guide Kanai was super nice and very energetic to keep us enjoyed. There was a little accident in another group but Kanai was very patient and finished the whole tour with extended time. Overall this is a very fun tour for the first time kayaking with little kids.

  This place was absolutely amazing. We have done every major tour on Oahu from the Polynesian Cultural Center, to Turtle Canyon to the Atlantis submarine, and this tour beat them all. It was probably because we had Hawaii’s best tour guide, Braden Marquez. I would have tipped this kid double what I did if I had the cash. He was AMAZING!!! We booked the 2hr guided tour and honestly wished we had the 5hr tour by the end of it because we did not want to go back to shore. Braden was so kind, helpful, and informative. We felt like family by the end of the tour. He took us out to the perfect spot for turtles and we saw tons. Then he took us back to the island and showed us every perfect spot on it and made us feel like locals. He taught us about surfing and we even surfed a few waves in our kayaks. He taught us tons about the flora and fauna. And most importantly, he taught us to kayak since we had limited exposure before this. He made us feel calm and comfortable and helped us truly feel like we were in paradise (which we were). He was great with our 9 year old daughter too and taught us some many facts and interesting things. I can’t praise this kid enough. He was the absolute best an

  I actually did the private kayak and snorkel tour with Austin. He as awesome! Very knowledgeable about the region, patient, courteous and accommodating! This was well worth the price and I loved my experience! Well done!

  I would highly recommend taking a guided kayak tour around Kailua Beach with Kailua Beach Adventures! Easy to get to if you’re able to rent a car. It’s about a 30-40 minute drive from Waikiki. Tomo was our tour guide and he went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable time. I went with someone who hurt herself the previous day and was unable to kayak by herself. Fortunately, Tomo offered to take her on a tandem kayak so she could still participate. We saw sea turtles and different types of birds. Make sure you either bring cheap sunglasses or purchase a strap for your sunglasses to hang around your neck. Most importantly, bring a change of clothes because you will get wet! Overall, it was an amazing day. We look forward to doing this again the next time we vacation in Oahu. Thanks Kailua Beach Adventures and Tomo!
